A holistic view means that we are paying attention and interesting in developing and engaging the whole person. It’s the approach that illustrates that the human being is multi-dimensional, physical, and emotional levels of a person. Every person has rational, and irrational aspects, and conscious and unconscious aspects. Consequently, the holistic view helps people to use their full gut feel, creativity, a sense of rhythm and harmony, insight, emotion, hunches, rationality, logic, and emotions (Stockholm Resilience Centre, n. d). Also, the holistic view believes that there are more than five senses, and it assists individuals in developing uncommon sense.

Explain the primary parts of your selected organization.

The coffee shop is my selected organization, which is a small team of only three people. However, it’s essential parts and key people in the organization are the customers, the order taker, the barista, the suppliers, and the order server. These fundamental elements are paramount as they contribute to the advancement of the company.

Then, explain how the parts of this organization relate to the whole organization

The contribution and responsibilities of the primary roles of the mentioned organization connect and relate to the entire organization (Stockholm Resilience Centre, n. d). Since, they form an underlying system, existing from symmetry, and then creating interactions through negative and positive feedbacks. As a consequence, these central parts lead the coffee shop to form inter-reliant, growing networks, and dynamics, which fractionally organized and sensitive dependent. Therefore, permitting the organization to display sudden or abrupt changes and behavior, which follow the allocations of the power-law.Finally, explain how understanding the whole and its parts inform an organization’s leadership and management.

An understanding of the part and whole helps the management and administration to recognize and identify the susceptibility, vulnerability or resilience of the organization. Also, comprehending the whole and the parts of the holistic view offer the leadership of an organization with knowledge of any competitors in the market. Further, the knowledge and understanding of the global vision assists the management handle and cope with any emergencies that crop up.

How would this understanding inform your leadership or management style?

The holistic view permits leaders to acknowledge the value and honor their intricacy. Therefore, with this understanding, the leaders have an opportunity to co-create the organization, take roles for their part in the holistic process (Uhl-Bien, 2006). A holistic view allows leaders to have a vision of drawing from their natural and inner resources such as imagination, intellect, intuition, and intellect.
